When Afire Krackers grand-dam was crossed with Peruvian Caligula she produced Kilimanjaro. When she was crossed with Peruvian Guellermo she produced Peruvian Ion (the highest selling alpaca in the Alpacas of America auction 2005). Afire Kracker has the same genetics as some extraordinary alpacas. He has a wonderful gentle demeanor.  But that isn’t all that he has, fantastic coverage from the top of his full tight bonnet all the way down to his toes. His fleece has a high frequency crimp and is buttery soft and fine even at 5 years old.  His fleece took a Blue at the 2007 Estes Park Wool Market Fleece show. Take a look at this histogram. His sire is known for replicating himself in all colors and we believe that Afire Kracker will do the same. Fires first cria hit the ground running in July 06.  He is a fabulous fawn (see below) out of a bay black dam and he has it all.  Density, crimp, conformation and attitude.  “Fire” also has 2 female cria on the ground, that’s 2 girls out of 3 cria.  In addition to passing on his awesome fleece he is stamping his flawless confirmatin on his crias also.  If your looking for a herdsire that will pass fabulous fleece to his cria that maintains a low micron even into older years Afire Kracker is your man.
